Austin’s clinical approach is grounded in an integrationist perspective, drawing from ACT, Logotherapy, Reality Therapy, and the Psychoanalytic traditions of Jung, Freud, and Adler. The implementation of these integrated practices is guided by an active search for truth, the strengthening of identity through an increased understanding of self, and the building of authentic relationships. In session, clients can expect genuine self-expression, thought-provoking questions, empathetic challenging, and courageous introspection. Austin believes that all behavior; even the most pathological makes sense with enough context. Therefore, with the proper understanding and courageous commitment, anyone can better understand themselves and build a meaningful life.
